Hey!
My name is Ashley Cunningham and I am a classically trained chef and self-taught baker, born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I began cooking professionally at the age of 16 when I began competing in culinary competitions and I earned multiple scholarships to culinary school through C-CAP and NAACP ACT-SO. I graduated from the Art Institute of North Hollywood with a degree in the Science of Culinary Arts and started working in the restaurant industry while in culinary school at the age of 18. I started baking cakes and experimenting more in-depth with pastry in 2018 and that has since become my second love, after cooking. In 2021, I became a private chef and started my business BadAshBakes LLC. I’m so grateful and blessed to be able to have such a love for food and I’m even more thrilled to be able to share my love through food with you all!
